Per trasformare questa cover di carta in un vaso basta inserire all’interno una bottiglia di plastica che non usi piu, in modo da contenere l’acqua necessaria ai tuoi fiori. Quando il vaso non ti serve piu, puoi appiattire e ripiegare il vaso, in modo da non sprecare spazio. Questo prodotto e’ stato disegnato da un designer olandese che ha fondato una charity nel 2010 per produrre i vasi dando lavoro alle donne degli slum di Mumbai. Fino ad ora la fondazione ha dato lavoro a più di 100 donne. Ben fatto!
Transforming this paper cover into a vase is simple; just insert a recycled plastic bottle filled with water and flowers inside the paper cover. When you don’t need a vase, you can just fold it up. This product is designed by an Amsterdam-based designer who, in 2010, founded a charity to produce the vases employing women from the slums of Mumbai. This foundation focuses on one specific slum with a community of around 700 people whose only home is in the red light district in Mumbai, India. The aim is to lift the state of this small community from ‘very poor’ to ‘middle class’ within the next 7 years. The goal by 2020 is to create a self-sufficient community. To date, the charity has employed 100 women from the slums. Well done!
